The Good Batch started with a simple mission: bake pure, not overly sweet, delicious confections. Founder Anna Gordon has done just that since she started selling her stroopwafels at the Brooklyn Flea in 2010.

A pastry chef by trade, Anna tried out her first stroopwafels for her Dutch husband. Since that beginning, she has created a full line of baked goods from Ice Cream Sandwiches to Brown Butter Salties. With such high demand for her cookies, Anna turned her dream into a reality in 2013 when she opened up a modern American bakery, The Good Batch.

With a new bakery business to run and a baby on the way, Anna has her hands full. Learn more about Anna's life as a baker, entrepreneur and Mom (to-be), and check out some summertime recommendations from the Good Batch staff.
