The Mast Brothers, Michael and Rick, are recognizable pioneers in the burgeoning bean-to-bar craft chocolate movement. Sourcing cocoa with unique equatorial flavor profiles, they are among the very few chocolate makers who roast beans in small batches to create truly handmade chocolate.

The bearded brothers started experimenting with chocolate in 2006.  Born and raised in Iowa, they now call Brooklyn home. At their flagship factory and retail shop in Brooklyn, their distinctive bars are wrapped in exquisite custom papers that they have designed and are sold at specialty food shops around the country and around the world.

Mast Brothers Chocolate's purity and distinctive tasting notes have attracted fans in the highest echelons of the culinary world and is used by preeminent chefs such as Thomas Keller, Dan Barber, Daniel Humm, Alice Waters, and Alain Ducasse.
